Hi, I'm Phoenix Hunter
...and yes, that's really my name!
I am a portrait and product photographer based in Hamilton, Ontario.
When I don’t have a camera in my hand, you'll probably find me in my apartment, listening to records while spending time with my cats and my family. From the time I was taking pictures of stuffed animals in my bedroom on my nana's old point-and-shoot camera, I knew photography was something that would stick with me for a lifetime.
I love what I do because I am able to create in a way that is personal to both myself and my client, and there is truly nothing more rewarding to me than being able to tell a story through the details of my work. To me, the experience is just as important as the outcome and I always work to provide a comfortable and fun environment for my shoots! I strive for everyone I work with to feel that the moments they spend with me are ones they can look back on with as much fondness as they feel for the photos they receive from me.
